After learning that the U.S. six people died from consuming products with brand Salmonella Kellogg 's, the Authority Panamanian Food Safety (AUPs) are expected to know the list of contaminated food, to define actions. Gilberto Real AUPSA general manager, said that in Panama there is no evidence that Kellogg brand foods s may contain Salmonella.

reported that one of the aspects to be considered by the AUPSA is checking whether or not these products are imported into the country, if so, would proceed immediately to take appropriate action. Real recalled that these products do not come to Panama as a whole and especially because not all are sent to Latin America.
He said that the regional level, there are dedicated plants the manufacture of food from the Kellogg brand "s responsible for providing shipments to each of the countries in the area. In the U.S., Kellogg 's recalled 7.03 million boxes of cookies sandwich of peanut butter.
