In early October, the Panamanian authorities recalling about 551 pounds 3000 Chinese products according to a report of the Panamanian Authority for Food Safety (AUPs). Approximately one thousand 369 pounds corresponded to products such as biscuits, chocolates and sweets which were held in raids since last Tuesday, when it suspended the sale of Asian products made from milk produced by the fear that contain the toxin melamine that has caused the death of infants in China.
Other 2 000 182 pounds were removed from a container that was trying to make 25 boxes of chocolates and 70 boxes of Vitasoy brand drinks which are produced from soybeans. Pedro Alvarez, head of operations of the AUPSA, expressed concern as most of the recalled products are treats that are mostly consumed by children. We recommend consumers not to purchase these products. AUPSA has detected more than one hundred products that may contain melamine. Currently, the author analyzes the content of laboratories same and is expected to soon submit a report on results.

Panamanian Authority for Food Safety (AUPs) announced that it withdrew from the market 56 products made with Chinese milk that could be contaminated with melamine. This is because health alert declared by the World Health Organization. In China, four infants died from taking contaminated milk formula with melamine, and tens of thousands have suffered food poisoning. In addition to the measure, said the official, Aupsa suspended import licenses for these and other Chinese food made with milk. Suspicion fell on just a candy, and were among the most popular pills White Rabbit, which were removed from stores. Among the goodies aside there are cookies, cakes, chocolates, sweets of various kinds, among others.
