2. Although the Bill proposes among its objectives to develop principles of equality and solidarity and to strengthen respect for human rights of men, women, children and adolescents, we serious grounds for stating that he Grave violations and irreparable damage to rights and fundamental structures of Venezuelan society recognized and guaranteed in our Constitution.
3. Faced with the serious damage that has already been suffering marriage and family for the economic decline, social and moral and the impact of a sexual bread culture that undermines social and legal structure, adds this legislative intent of the new National Assembly, that the Catholic Church, as well as other Christian brothers and other faiths, is extremely concerned.
4. The new legislative project of gender equality and equity seriously undermines rights guaranteed and protected by our Constitution: namely the institutions of marriage and family and the best interests of children and adolescents enshrined in Articles 75, 76, 77 and 78 of the Constitution to legitimize same-sex unions, giving them legal and economic effects than those of marriage, in the draft the new law violated these rights are legally. Also known constitutional right protecting the sanctity of human life, whether for contraception or abortion.
5. The Church proclaims, like our Constitution, the primacy and inviolability of human rights: the dignity of the person and inviolable right human life. This natural law than any human law , requires States the obligation to defend human life. This essential and fundamental right is enshrined in our Constitution when he says that "human life is inviolable and the State has an obligation to protect" (art. 43, 76).
6. The natural institution of marriage as an institution of natural law, enshrined in our laws as a union between a man and a woman, and the institution of the family as a communion of love, respect, loyalty and relief mutual composed of father, mother, sons and daughters are recognized and protected by the State in accordance with Articles 75 and 77 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
7. When the institution of marriage and family, who are the pillars of society are threatened by social situations, economic, ideological, or legal, the various institutions of society should be set in motion for his defense. Therefore it is legitimate reaction and rejection of society when endangers human dignity and rights are inherent, like enjoy of family structure consisting of a man and a woman and her children.
8. Being responsible for the pastoral care of the family we call all men and women of Venezuela vigilant study and discussion of this new bill that if approved seriously compromise the future of our society, and invite you to work and make proposals contribute to the dignity of the human person and reject matters that contribute to weakening of such fundamental rights as: dignity and respect for human beings and the natural structure of marriage and family. also urges to safeguard the right of every child or adolescent to be trained and educated within their natural family.
