Thesis XI - Bread and Roses in Front Humanities!

Elections -UNS CEHum

In an election in which 258 students voted, Humanities Front CEHum retained conduction (Center for Humanities students) with 75% of the vote. The Front is composed of Thesis XI as president, Bread and Roses and the FEL (UJS). 192 students voted for an independent central authorities, government, employers and workers together.

The Current, the PCR student group, which emptied the CEHum in 2008, and has lost the internal election to the Kraft plant in Pacheco won by the militant workers of Schedule 1, were defeated in a just getting overwhelming 46 votes (18%) of the 258 students who participated.

Despite the maneuvers of the authorities and their allies (PC) to de-legitimize the election, students ratified and deepened its support for our group in Front Humanities, which gave in 2009 the first steps to democratize CEHum and transform it into an activist tool and struggle.

This election represents a triumph of a center that, in line with the awakening of the student movement throughout the country, comes to reclaim the streets in support of workers.

next week, before the general election and binding of the UNS, call on students to continue the fight with theses XI and Bread and Roses to denounce these anti-democratic governing bodies and an outlaw regime that thousands of students and not teachers.
