Statement of the Collective Alexandra Kollontai

Statement of the Collective Alexandra Kollontai

With regard to the exclusion of the demands of feminists and sexodiversidad in the discussion of Law of Equity and Equality Gender .

We, feminist, lesbian, gay and straight, we have organized the Feminist Collective Alexandra Kollontai, for theoretical and policy proposals that advance the radical feminist agenda within the revolutionary ranks. We decided to go out for support the historical claims of feminists and sexual diversity in regard to the inclusion of issues such as the legalization of abortion, legal recognition of marriages of same-sex and the right of transsexuals to identity in the current draft Law on Gender Equity and Equality proposed by the National Assembly.

So far, deputies and National Assembly deputies have approached the issue of abortion and population demands sexodiversa from the lens of taboo, prejudice and pragmatics of the surveys, not from a revolutionary perspective. The absence of public policies in these areas as sensitive, we has been ranked as the country with the highest rate of early and unwanted pregnancies in girls and adolescents, with a high rate of deaths of women have abortions in unsafe care due to their illegal and the criminalization of poverty, besides expansion of so-called Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and the entire socio-cultural drama that entails.

Criminalizing abortion is still being sentenced to death for thousands of poor women who are forced to have abortions in unsanitary and unsafe, while profit from those sectors
doctors who perform abortions, illegally and creates a climate which promotes all types of abuse that produces this absurd criminalization of a public health problem. Moreover, the refusal to take politically the problem of the various manifestations of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, encourages hate crimes that occur routinely against lesbian, gay, transgender and transsexual.

For all these reasons, we demand that the National Assembly to consider the requests of the feminist movement and sexual diversity, open the discussion to the various sectors involved, to make public the bill and its discussion and include the proposed Rep. Romelia Matute, rejected without discussion.

Importantly, we are in a state of law and social justice lay beyond the moral position that the deputies as they respect. The time is right to promote not only changes in the legal field, but cultural. First remove the old prejudices and phobias, products of ignorance and discrimination of class, ethnicity and sex, and does not correspond with the current transformation process in our country nor with the current Constitution.

We, as feminists, we believe that issues related to the body, gender and sexuality are not confined to the area of privacy, are political and social effects tangible, such as the continued proliferation of speeches filled with intolerance, the commercialization of women's bodies, acts of murder, rape, assault and humiliation experienced by lesbian, gay, transgender and transsexual .

rights of women and population sexodiversa are matters of high policy. Demonstrate the highest degree of consciousness in a revolutionary society. The deputies and National Assembly deputies, should be placed at the height of the political situation and the demands of the most excluded and discriminated against. We demand that the National Assembly debate on legalization of abortion as a key step in the design of public policies that guarantee the health of women and, through the law of equity and gender equality are taken effective measures to ensure political and social rights of lesbian, gay and Transsexuals who have yet to experience full citizenship rights and exclusions of all kinds.

demand policy proposals in line with socialist and feminist principles. It is time to move beyond pragmatism and political calculation. Let us begin, once and for all make responsible decisions, revolutionary and cutting edge. These issues are located in the area of \u200b\u200bhuman rights and not the field criminal, moral or religious. Political principles of equality, dignity and equality for all.

rights are not traded, are required! Enough hypocrisy in the National Assembly! Stop the hypocrisy of MPs and MEPs! For sexodiverso feminist socialism!
lesbophobia and transphobia is also femicide State!
