November 18 elections were held faculty of the University of Zaragoza. After a careful campaign, and the 47.3% of the votes and 39 of the 75 cloistered, Students in the University Defense renews its absolute majority in sector of students of the Faculty of the University of Zaragoza. The participation of students, traditionally very low, stood at 10%. In the Faculty of Arts, EDU has won two of the six cloistered allocated to our center. EDU
denounced the exclusion of hundreds of students in the electoral process by red tape surrounding the electoral roll. Students from all schools have been limited their right to vote and be elected as representatives of the students in this body of university community engagement.
Finally, EDU is the candidate who has filed higher proportion of women in their lists with 66%, compared to an average of 26% in other applications. Likewise denounce the persistence of an underground limitation in access of women in decision-making positions in universities, institutions and English companies.
